We were told that the maids were not doing their job, but it wouldn't be their fault the furniture and vents and window coverings needed replacing. With families only beginning to travel again and covid still lurking in the background I think your hotel needs to do a better job. Needless to say, we had a restless night and should have asked for a refund and left. The old phones and light switches were gross. It was dusty inside the closet behind the mirror where the ironing board is stored. Both chairs in the room were extremely dirty and old. The window coverings and the valance were falling apart and ripped.

The phone charging station and remote was filthy. The bed appeared to be clean, but the dust ruffle was dirty. The coffee pot was dirty/dusty and so we went down to the lobby to get a cup. The vent in the bathroom didn't work and you could see into the vent, and it was filthy. My husband washed his hair in the sink and the hairdryer didn't work. We didn't shower because it was so gross. Window in hallway looking outside had been slimed with who knows what. Carpet in hallway leading to the room dirty and unvacuumed.

Below please find the list of issues we endured. We ended up going to our car to get wipes to clean so that we would be comfortable. We were tired and just wanted to rest for the night after a long day. We were shocked by the room's lack of cleanliness. This was the first time that we have had a problem at a Hampton Inn. room # 234/KXTD on This was the dirtiest Hampton Inn we have ever come a crossed. We stayed 2305 Longport CT Elk Grove, Ca.
